The Vaddio 999-4147-000 Canon BU-47H weatherproof remote control robotic pan-tilt HD 16:9 camera is built around broadcast-quality camera/lens high definition pan/tilt/zoom camera systems. It features a Canon HD camera equipped with three 1/3-inch (2.37 million-pixel) CCDs, a Genuine Canon HD zoom lens with 18x optical zoom ratio (7.4-134mm), and a remote-control ND (neutral density) filter. The Canon BU-47H works can be controlled by Vaddio's™ Precision Camera Controller and ProductionVIEW™ HD-SDI with the included adapters. This camera is the ideal choice for a wide range of high definition video applications.

The 999-4147-000 outputs include HD-SDI or SD-SDI with embedded audio (using a third-party microphone) and standard-definition composite NTSC. The BU-47H remote-control robotic pan-tilt HD camera can output HD-SDI and composite video simultaneously for high-definition recording and standard-definition monitoring at the same time. The Vaddio 999-4147-000 Canon BU-47H camera has a 2-year limited warranty included.

CCD Mega-pixel sensors

Each camera includes three CCDs for excellent low-light capability and exceptional video quality. The BU-47H utilizes new 2.37 Megapixel image sensors, while the BU-51H uses 1.67 Megapixel image sensors, both offering broadcast quality video requirements.

Gen Lock

The BU-Series cameras have a Gen Lock port for connecting the camera to broadcast video switchers.

Simultaneous SD Output

In addition to the HD-SDI output, both cameras offer an analog SD composite output, allowing the user to send the SD signal to a low-cost monitor.

Vaddio compatibility

The 999-4147-000 Canon BU-47H camera is compatible with the Vaddio ProductionVIEW HD-SDI switcher and the Precision Camera Controller. Both Vaddio systems provide joystick control of the PTZ cameras, as well as focus and iris. Precision Camera Controller also allows the user to control red & blue gain as well as pedestal for easy color matching in multi-camera installations.

Basic connectivity of the BU-47H Outdoor PTZ system

The Vaddio 999-4147-000 Canon BU-47H PTZ system uses a Cat. 5e for RS-232/RS-422 control to the camera. The RS-232 to RS-422 is port powered and it is recommended to be located close to the control source. While the Cat. 5e cable can be run up to 500’ (152.4m) from the camera, the Canon BU-47H is rated for a distance up to 246’ (75m).
