I bought this system for my kindergarten classroom. It reduces vocal strain, and the students love using the pass around microphone. I have a large room and the speaker has no problem picking up the microphone, unless there's an obstruction, for example, if I'm standing behind the kids cubbies it will not work. Also, if I stand too close to the speaker it creates ear bleeding feedback (slight exageration). All in all, it's a great system. Since using it my voice feels fine at the end of the day, and I haven't needed to take a single sick day. The cost is high, but worth it. I wish it was more affordable
