Teach Logic IRF-3650/WM4
The Teach Logic IRF-3650/WM4 is a sound-field system for classroom presentation which consists of an IMA-320 receiver unit, an IRT-55 Sapphire microphone transmitter, four SP-2000 wall-mount speakers and a ICS-55 ceiling sensor for connectivity throughout the room. The receiver features a 50W digital hybrid class D amplifier, digital equalization, and 2 infrared microphone receivers designed to provide freedom of movement with constant connectivity in enclosed classrooms up to 1600ft² with ceiling heights 12' or less. The Forum has 2 separate front panel outputs for assistive listening and lesson capture. Also included in the system are a Lithium battery and a drop-in battery-charger for the Sapphire microphone.
IMA-320 Forum Amplifier / Receiver Base Station with Switching Power Supply
The IMA-320 Forum Amplifier / Receiver Base Station with Switching Power Supply from Teach Logic is the nucleus of the Forum Wireless Classroom Microphone System. This receiver is designed for use with the sapphire, crescent, or handheld microphone transmitters (all sold separately). These transmitters transmit the vocal signal via infrared light to the dome sensor (sold separately) installed on the ceiling. The signal is then sent via cable to the receiver input of the mixer/amplifier. The signal is detected and then processed through the power amplifier to the speakers.
The amplifier / receiver includes 2 infrared microphone channels, 2 auxiliary line inputs for computers and DVD/iPod units, and a 3-band equalizer. The two wireless microphone channels provide freedom of movement and permit hands-free performance. The two auxiliary inputs provide multimedia integration. The built-in power amp delivers 32W of power to a maximum of 4 speakers (sold separately). It has separate outputs for both assistive listening and recording with active boards.
- Two infrared wireless microphone receiver channels
- Two built-in power amplifiers; 18W each
- Two stereo auxiliary inputs for DVD & computer / Aux
- Additional DVD input gain, adjustable +10 dB boost
- Front-panel auxiliary input (3.5mm)
- Three-band digital equalizer ± 12 dB
- Front panel ALS output for assistive listening system with gain control (3.5mm)
- Front panel REC output for lesson capture with gain control (3.5mm)
- Light weight aluminum cover
Infrared Dome Sensor
Teach Logic's Infrared Dome Sensor needs to be installed on the ceiling at least 3' from the video projector. It comes with a mounting/support bracket and 50' of plenum rated cable with RCA connector on each end. The ideal location for the dome sensor would be in the center of the ceiling. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the dome sensor without obstruction. In addition, you will have 360° coverage and will minimize the transmission distance for more reliable performance. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.
- Easily installs on ceiling "T" bar with track bracket
- 6 large receiving diodes for infrared reception
