eno Flex
The Largest Interactive Whiteboard Available!
The Steelcase EnoFlexAB280 is one of the largest interactive surfaces available, and the largest board we have to offer. The EnoFlexAB280 measures a whopping 14' 3" wide (yes, that is 14 feet) and 4 feet tall. While that is a huge size, it is at home anywhere from a classroom, board room, or even an emergency command center.
The EnoFlexAB280 works just like the regular Eno boards and it is just as durable. You might be familiar with the Eno 2610-A and 2810-A, the most durable boards we offer. They have a true porcelain dry erase surface with a steel backing so you can treat them like a standard markerboard. They are also interactive and completely wireless with no physical connections between the board and computer, only a bluetooth pen.
Unique, Even for an Eno Board
The EnoFlexAB280 is unique in both its construction and functionality. It is actually 2 Eno 2810-A's made into one big board. The two boards have a brushed aluminum joint between them but there is a full width marker tray at the bottom and tack strip at the top. There are even clips to hang papers and a flag holder. This allows the EnoFlexAB280 to be used as a standard marker board.
The Eno is an interactive board after all and when used with one or two projectors, you'll have full interactive functionality. Here is where it gets interesting though, because this is where the EnoFlexAB280 is really unique.
Use it with one projector. Have one side of the FlexAB280 use interactively and still have the other side for dry erase use. You can also display papers using the tack strip or magnets. But this really isn't taking full advantage of this board's abilities.
Use it with two projectors. Here is where the FlexAB280 really shines. This board is actually two boards put together, and you can use it as two boards and only need one computer. By creating a "dual monitor" or "extended desktop" set up on your computer, you can do things never before seen on an interactive board. You even have two different ways of using it with this dual monitor set up.
Basically, the left board would be your main desktop and the right board would be your extended desktop. You would be able to move windows back and forth between them just as if you had two monitors on your computer.
You can use it as one giant board working off of one icon strip. If you select whiteboard mode, both boards go into whiteboard mode. Select mouse mode, and you have mouse control on both boards.
The real fun starts when you set it to work off of 2 icon strips. This is how we recommend using it. This gives you two separate boards with one computer. Select whiteboard mode on the right and you can draw or take notes, while having your live computer screen on the left, or vice versa. Have video conferencing on one side and annotate over a document on the other side. The possibilities are endless.

Here is another video explaining the total cost of ownership when it comes to interactive whiteboards, and how an Eno like this can actually save you money.
Intentionally designed for educators, ēno Flex uniquely blends the simplicity of a traditional whiteboard with the interactivity of a large flat panel display by combining both analog markers and digital multimedia into one surface — transforming active learning and teaching in the classroom.
Unlike the other interactive solutions that ignore the power of analog and force educators to use constantly changing multimedia tools, ēno Flex not only enables educators to use as much (or as little) technology as they need; it also enables them to adopt new teaching behaviors, pedagogies, and technologies over time.
ēno Flex provides the most usable vertical real estate with both interactive and dry erase surfaces, and includes an integrated marker tray, tack rail, and map hooks to maximize classroom real estate while meeting a wide range of teaching and learning needs.
ēno Flex provides the following benefits to educators:
