SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard M600i6 Series

The M600i6 series from Smart Technologies is the next generation of its widely successful 600i series interactive whiteboard. Available in the 77 inch M680i6 and the 85 inch M685i6, the M600i6 Smartboards are easier to use and more functional than ever.  They include the UF70 (M680i6) and UF70W (M685i6) projectors so all you need to provide is a computer and a wall to mount them on.

Durable writing surface

The surface of the boards is hard coated, steel backed and optimized for projection. It is durable and compatible with dry erase markers. Unlike its predecessor, the M600 Series use Smart’s DViT technology to make the board multi-touch compatible with support for two-touch points. Simultaneously operate the board without any issues or worries as no electronics are in the surface.

MAC / Windows compatible

Mac and Windows gesturing compatible, allowing you to take full advantage of the latest operating systems. Integrated response and user-friendly gestures to increase workflow.

Dual touch capabilities

DViT® technology provides support for two simultaneous touches, making it easy for two students to instantly collaborate, working together at the same time.

Freestyle interaction

Two students can instantly start working together without having to switch to a multi-user mode or work in confined areas of the surface. Switch naturally from collaborating to interacting with lesson content.

Advance pen tray

The M600i6 boards no longer ship with the four colored pens with built-in auto detection. Now you get two (2) user-friendly pens with color select buttons built into the tray. Select a color, start your presentation and then move to another color rapidly. You no longer need to manage and switch between pens. Need to type something? Engage the right click option and on screen keyboard buttons to generate more options on the fly.

SMART Notebook collaborative learning software

This software creates engaging interactive lessons, and then saves notes and content from those lessons to share with students. It provides a common platform for linking classroom technologies and student mobile devices.

Each board ships with Smart Drivers and a license of Smart Notebook software. This includes the popular Smart Ink feature which improves the look of handwriting for easier reading, and also allows writing to become an object in the software, where it can be manipulated.

Improve the legibility of your handwriting as you write over applications, websites and videos. The ink becomes an object that you can move and manipulate.
 

The SMART UF70 Projector

The ultra-short-throw UF70 projector features improved shadow reduction and enhanced brightness, and is HD ready. It has a throw distance of approximately 25.75" (65.5 cm), provides 3,000 lumens in standard mode and projects crisp images with high contrast and color quality. The projector displays high-definition video, and provides an HDMI input.

The projector's extended control panel makes it easy for teachers to control other audiovisual devices in the classroom from the front of the interactive whiteboard. With one touch, they can switch between inputs and control power and volume. The UF70 is also energy efficient, consuming 0.5 watts of power in standby mode. And it offers a long-lasting lamp life (up to 4,000 hours in Economy mode) and filter-free design which reduce maintenance costs. The UF70 is compatible with standard and widescreen models of SMART Board 600, 800 and M600 series interactive whiteboards.
