Simple, captivating and engaging at every touch
The SMART Board® M680Viv2 interactive whiteboard system combines a SMART Board M680V interactive whiteboard, a SMART V30 projector, and other accessories and optional equipment. The SBM680Viv2 system supports video and audio connections from a variety of devices including DVD and Blu-ray™ players, document cameras, and other high-definition sources, and can project media from these sources onto the interactive screen. All HDMI 1.4 inputs are HDCP compliant. An optional 14-watt USB speakers are available to add sound.
Dual touch capabilities
DViT® technology provides support for two simultaneous touches, making it easy for two students to instantly collaborate, working together at the same time.
Freestyle interaction
Two students can instantly start working together without having to switch to a multi-user mode or work in confined areas of the surface. Switch naturally from collaborating to interacting with lesson content.
Touch gestures
A natural touch experience makes it easy for students and teachers to interact with content, writing, erasing and performing mouse functions using a finger or pen. Flick, rotate and zoom using simple hand gestures.
Durable surface
The low-gloss surface is optimized for projection, ensuring that content can be clearly seen from anywhere in the room. The surface is also easy to clean and is compatible with dry-wipe markers.
Pen Ledge
The M600V boards no longer ship with the four colored pens with built-in auto detection. Now you get two (2) user-friendly pens and a pen ledge, similar to the marker tray on a dry erase board, which sits in the center of the board and does not run the full width. This means a lower cost for the board. Even though it isn't the electronic pen tray Smart fans are used to, you don't loose anything. You can still use the pens to work the board, you just change colors from the on screen tool bar. You can even "right click" and bring up the on screen keyboard right from the board's work surface.
SMART Notebook collaborative learning software
This software creates engaging interactive lessons, and then saves notes and content from those lessons to share with students. It provides a common platform for linking classroom technologies and student mobile devices.
SMART Ink
Improve the legibility of your handwriting as you write over applications, websites and videos. The ink becomes an object that you can move and manipulate.
SMART V30 projector
The SMART V30 projector provides a bright high-resolution image on a short boom delivering high-definition, high-performance interactivity that is virtually shadow-free and glare-free.
The projector supports video and audio connections from a variety of devices including DVD and Blu-ray™ players, document cameras, and other high-definition sources, and can project media from these sources onto the interactive screen. All HDMI 1.4 inputs are HDCP compliant.
