HoverCam Neo3X Document Cameras

Like its predecessor, the Neo3, this contains two cameras, offering the ability to record picture-in-picture video presentations. But to add more flexibility, the Neo3X has several improvements. In addition to onboard memory, and a remote control, the new Neo3X also has an HDMI port, greatly expanding the connectivity options of the unit.

The Neo3X was designed with flexibility in mind - both in function and use. With a bendable mechanical neck and pivoting base, users are able to angle the camera however needed for their individual application. This is particularly useful when looking at detail rich, three dimensional objects, where the user can position the camera at unusual angles to obtain the clearest possible image.

With increased flexibility, the HoverCam Neo3X is designed to allow the user up to 3x zoom at any angle. When used with a computer, the Neo3X achieves over 13x digital zoom, offering the ability to focus at up to 40x magnification with exceptional clarity. The Neo3X is able to capture vivid images and video through its HD 720p camera and full 30 frames per second capture rate. Combining HD resolution at 30 frames per second, along with a built in microphone, translates to very fluid audio and video, ideal for recording video or live presentations. To aid users in maximizing picture quality, the Neo3X offers the ability to manually focus the camera, extremely important in taken sharp images.

More than just a document camera, the HoverCam Neo3X can also be used as a webcam. When placed into its closed position, the Neo3X will function as a versatile webcam. Additionally, when the arm is extended and the unit is being used as a document camera, the second camera can unfold to record either the presenter or the audience. With two cameras, the user can create and record picture-in-picture video, making the Neo3X ideal for conferencing, as well as distance learning. With the Neo3X, an instructor can look into the camera, while simultaneously presenting a document or object under the camera, offering the audience an in-person feel to an online presentation.
