Designed to separate full HD video and 2ch stereo audio from the HDMI signal
The FSR DV-HAS HDMI Audio Separator is designed to separate full HD video and 2ch stereo audio from the HDMI signal and provide a separate unbalanced line level stereo audio output to external sound systems such as audio amps, audio mixers, or house sound systems. The highest video quality is preserved without any signal loss and the source video is unaffected when the audio is separated.
Protected HD content is guarded against piracy with HDCP. Currently, every digital video product sends HD signals with HDCP. The video will not display if the products are not compliant to HDCP standards. The DV-HAS fully supports HDCP for full system compatibility without any glitches.

EDID learning function
The DV-HAS also features an EDID learning function to easily handle non-standard displays that have limited resolutions with a single button press. Visual confirmation via LED’s of active power, presence of video and EDID learning status are a great aid in installation and setup.
The unit’s compact design can be quickly mounted using integral mounting ears or placed in equipment housing.
NOTE: Due to delays inherent in the audio processing channels of most display devices, the audio coming from the display will lag behind the DV-HAS audio output by a significant amount of time (generally 16 to 32 milliseconds or longer). It is not recommended to use audio originating from the display device and the DV-HAS in the same listening area.
