Why can''t the VS481A power detection be used with ATEN HDMI extenders such as VE800, VE801, VE802, VE803, VE800A, VE810, VE812 and VE814?

The HDMI Extender needs power for its own use and cannot pass through the true power status of attached devices.

Source device to VS481- 1.8m VS481 to display device 20m (24 AWG cable) 15m (28 AWG cable) Output of source to input display 24AWG cable = 21.8m (71ft) 28AWG cable = 16.8m (61ft)
The RS232 software does not start, how do I resolve this problem?
The error code is associated with the serial port connection, please verify the following: - Do you have an unused COM port available on your computer? - Are there any resources accessing the Com port? - Do you have an Antivirus that may be blocking use of the Serial port connection? -> You might have to disable or uninstall the antivirus for testing.
