The Williams Sound IR SY6 SoundPlus Medium-area Infrared (IR T2) System 6 is ideal for assistive listening and language interpretation in commercial spaces such as conference rooms, assisted living facilities, small cinema/theaters, classrooms, and courtrooms.
The system includes (1) IR T2 medium-area infrared transmitter, (2) WIR RX22-4 four-channel infrared receivers, (1) MIC 049 Omnidirectional conference microphone, (2) EAR 022 surround earphones, (2) NKL 001 neckloops, (2) BAT 001-2 AA Alkaline batteries, (1) IDP 008 ADA wall plaque, (1) CCS 030 large customizable carry case, (1) STD 007 table-top tripod, (1) TFP 057 power supply and (1) WCA 007 WC 12-foot mono cable. The IR SY6 is designed to maximize coverage area up to 18,000 square feet in a single-channel mode when using the RX22-4 receiver.
Medium-area Infrared Transmitter
Building on years of infrared audio delivery expertise, Williams Sound is pleased to introduce the new SoundPlus® IR T2 commercial-grade, medium-area infrared transmitter. The new IR T2 infrared transmitter offers 50 percent greater coverage than the previous IR device (WIR TX75) and new control system readiness - all at a more affordable price.
With a significantly wider coverage pattern and more power, there is no need for the additional expense of secondary units. The IR T2 infrared transmitter ensures participants in your conference room, courtroom, classroom or other mid-sized venue receive direct, clear communication of your message without sacrificing security.
SoundPlus® 4-channel Infrared Receiver
The WIR RX22-4N is a four-channel selectable, infrared receiver compatible with transmitters operating on the 2.3/2.8/3.3/3.8 MHz bandwidth. Dual infrared detectors maximize sensitivity and operating range. Range of up to 28,000 square feet (2,600 square meters) in single-channel mode when used with a Williams Sound WIR TX925 or WIR TX90 infrared system.
Comfortable, body-pack design features convenient channel selector and easy-to-use on/off volume control. The RX22-4N can be used with mono or stereo headphones, earphones or a neckloop (lanyard included).
Omnidirectional conference microphone
Enhanced pickup range (8-12ft), 36" cord, Omni-boundary condenser, 100 Hz - 8 kHz. Use with PFM/PPA T46 transmitter, PPA T27 transmitter and DLT 300. It measures 2" x 2" x 11⁄16" and weighs only 0.08 lbs.
Surround Earphone
Hangs on outside of the ear. Excellent sound quality. 32 Ω, mono. Hearing loss rating: mild and low gain. 0.04 lbs.
Neckloop 18" (mono plug)
Use with hearing aids or cochlear implants equipped with a T-coil switch. 3.5 mm plug, mono, 8 - 16 Ω. Moderate to severe hearing loss. Integrated safety breakaway device. In the event the neckloop cord becomes entangled with a object in motion, the breakaway device will disconnect the neckloop from the user.
