The Teach Logic IRM-6155/WM4 is a Maxim III Receiver Amplifier System Package that includes the following:
New & Improved for 2021! The Maxim™ is the Teach Logic's flagship infrared classroom audio system that comes ready to support both in-person and hybrid learning. It is the ultimate audio system for group presentation; whether in a classroom, boardroom, or conference area. Its two-channel receiver allows the simultaneous use of two wireless infrared microphones. The Sapphire pendant is ideal for hands-free presentation while the IRH-35 handheld can be passed around the room for individual participation. When connected to overhead speakers, the Maxim™ ensures that crystal clear sound is delivered to every seat in the room. Four auxiliary line inputs to integrate various media devices to supplement your presentation material for added engagement, plus connections for intercom, fire alarm, and security alert. An ultrasensitive dome sensor mounted to the ceiling renders 100% reliable signal connectivity of the microphone throughout the room. With the advanced infrared (IR) engineering, TeachLogic systems are less susceptible to outside interference and all transmission will be contained in the room. IR will not pass through a solid surface, thus eliminating transmission into an adjacent room and providing absolute security. What is said in the room stays in the room.
The Sapphire is the flagship microphone designed specifically for educators. Hands free, lightweight, and hardly noticeable when worn on a lanyard or clipped directly to your neckline collar. It transmits wirelessly to a TeachLogic audio receiver, which can be part of a complete TeachLogic classroom audio system (microphone + amplifier/receiver + speakers) or added to an existing sound system by using a VoiceLink I receiver. Regardless, the Sapphire ensures your students hear equally well.
The TeachLogic SP-2000 is a full-range 2-way compact wall mount/shelf mount speaker, providing low distortion and a smoother frequency response ideal for articulate vocal clarity for more even coverage. The included wall-mount bracket enables the unit to be secured against a wall or other flat surface.
The ceiling sensor is the preferred infrared sensor for optimum performance. It comes standard with Forum, Maxim III, Spectrum II, VoiceLink I, VoiceLink Plus, VoiceLink III, and VoiceLink IV packages. This unit needs to be installed on the ceiling at least 3′-0″ from the video projector. It comes with a mounting/support bracket and 50 feet of plenum-rated cable with an RCA connector on each end.
The ideal location for the dome sensor would be in the center of the ceiling. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the dome sensor without obstruction. In addition, you will have 360° coverage and will minimize the transmission distance for more reliable performance. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum-rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.
