The Sharp’s AQUOS BOARD™ PN-L603A is designed for smooth and effortless communication in a wide range of contexts. The highly responsive touch pens allow several people to write on the same screen at the same time. The PN-L603A features 60" class (60 - 1/16" diagonal) screen size with 10 point multi-touch/multi-user system that allows up to four people to write on the screen at the same time using touch pens or fingers. With full 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution – from analog RGB, digital RGB and HDTV video sources. Touch Display Link 2.0 Software – Onscreen content – including handwritten notes and drawings made in real time – can be viewed simultaneously on the AQUOS BOARD and mobile devices such as PCs, tablets and smartphones. Protecting the screen is a specially coated film that works to reduce glare and reflections, and minimize fingerprints on the glass surface. With built-in 10 watt per channel front facing stereo speakers feature. And Sharp’s Touch Display Link software enables multifaceted wireless communication. Whether in the boardroom or the classroom, Sharp changes the way you communicate. The PN-L603A includes 3-year on-site limited warranty that covers parts, labor and backlight.

Some of the new features include:

Simultaneous Writing:Recognizing up to 10 points of contact, the new line of AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems allows up to four people to write on the screen at the same time using touch pens or their fingers.
New Display Technology Minimizes Glare and Fingerprints:Protecting the screen is an anti-glare film that works to reduce glare and reflections while minimizing fingerprint soiling.
Faster Touch Response Rate:The new LCD multi-touch displays give users a more natural experience, nearly eliminating any delay, by refreshing the position information of the touch pen at a maximum of 200 times per second. This offers users a drawing speed faster than the original AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems.
Smooth, Highly Responsive Touch Pen -The touch pen gives a smooth experience that's similar to the traditional dry-erase board experience.
Ability to Communicate to Mobile Devices –The AQUOS BOARD can push out content directly to connected mobile devices. Users can securely overlay their notes and messages directly onto presentations and save for future use without affecting original content.

Additional improvements include an expanded number of digital interface ports, an on-screen touch menu and front facing speakers that help provide an intuitive and easy-to-use experience.

What is the difference between the PN-L603B and the PN-L603A?

The "A" model has the ability to run the Sharp Pen software without a computer. This means that right out of the box, with no PC, you can use the Sharp for digital white boarding.

What is TD Link software?

Touch Display Link software allows you to incorporate your iOS and Android devices into your presentations. Just connect over wifi to the same network your Sharp''s computer is on and there would be a presenter and attendees. The screen being displayed on the Sharp will be shown on all the connected devices. The presenter can control the presentation and annotate on the main screen from the device. Attendees can even make their own annotations on their device. They are also able to send files to the Sharp screen to put up on the main display. At the end of the presentation, a copy can instantly be sent to all the connected devices.

What devices can I use with TD Link?

iPad, iPhone, and Android phones and tablets will work. In our video, Anthony is using a Samsung Smartphone and it works just as well as a full size tablet.

So there is built in computer on the "A" models?

No, far from it. All you can do is white board. If you want to present pictures, MS Office files, wed sites, etc, you still need a PC to do that. The "A" model is good if you plan on using the Sharp with various laptop computers that people will bring in and connect as needed. This way anyone can still use it draw and take notes without needing to have a PC. Please note, the "A" model is no longer available.

Yes, you can connect a PC and use the Sharp just as if it were a "B" model. In this regard, there are no differences. Please note, the "A" model is no longer available.

Yes. If you buy a Sharp with a PC, you''ll get the TD Link software already installed. If you are using your own computer, you can just download it from the Sharp website for free.

You''ll need to download the app from Google Play or the App Store, and it is free so you don''t have to buy anything. You do need to connect with wifi, so if you don''t have a wireless network, you''ll need to set one up.
