Dual touch collaboration

Student collaboration is enhanced with the board’s dual touch capabilities, which allow two students to naturally collaborate and simultaneously interact with lesson content using pens, their fingers, or other objects.

The Smartboard M600’s freestyle interaction provides a simple and adaptable way of maintaining lesson momentum. It enables two students to instantly start working together without having to switch to a multi-user mode or work in confined areas of the surface. This allows teachers to provide innovative and adaptive lesson content, while still maintaining class attention levels.

Powerful software

Teachers can easily create and deliver engaging interactive lessons and then save notes or content from those lessons to share with students using Smart Notebook collaborative learning software. Notebook is also able to easily link to a variety of classroom technologies and student devices, creating interactive learning that flows throughout the classroom.

Several packages available

The Smart M600 requires both a computer and projector to operate. To simplify the ordering process, Touchboards offers several packages with projectors, as well as other very popular accessories.

There are two types of packages:

• Group 1 (denoted by UST)
  • Includes Optoma ultra-short throw projector with wall mount
  • Includes wireless adapter for projector (eliminates HDMI cable)
• Group 2 (denoted by UST v2)
  • Same as group 1, but adds two things

An ultra-short throw projector mounts directly above the board and projects from a very short distance. This is very useful in that it reduces shadows cast by the arms and body of the presenter.

LAN display supports up to 4 simultaneous computers while USB display mirrors Android and iOS devices. Four corners geometric correction allows flexible installations while robust input options include HDMI, VGA, and RJ-45 for connectivity to a wide range of devices.

Media sharing via DLNA, AirPlay, and Casting functions to provide easy content sharing and compatibility with virtually any mobile device, PC, or Mac. The integrated office document reader, web browser, and media player lets users open popular Microsoft Office, iWork, video, music, and image file formats for easy PC-free use.
