The SMARTBOARD SB880E Interactive whiteboard featuring intuitive design is the perfect solution to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving. With a 4:3 aspect ratio, this 77-inch interactive whiteboard supports multi-user writing and common multi-touch gestures currently recognized in Microsoft® Windows 7 and Mac Snow Leopard operating systems. The SB880E doesn’t restricted user areas or a separate multi-user mode, so collaborative opportunities are always at your fingertips. It enables up to four users to simultaneously write, perform mouse functions, erase and manipulate objects. Toss, rotate and interact with objects while using SMARTBOARD Notebook software.

Compatible with Epson's PowerLite 530 or 580 projectors

Epson and SMARTBOARD have been working together to bring advanced collaborative learning solutions to the classroom. As part of its ongoing partnership, Epson produced a line of projectors designed and certified specifically for use with SMARTBOARD interactive whiteboard systems. The PowerLite 530 and 580 projectors are compatible with the SMARTBOARD 880 interactive whiteboard offering 3x higher color brightness than competitive models. Both projectors deliver 3200 lumens of color brightness. The PowerLite 530 projects images from as close as 34" while PowerLite 580 projects 77" images.

Object awareness

Cameras automatically identify when a user switches between their finger, fist or a pen. A user can also write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger, without having to press buttons, access on-screen menus or replace tools in the pen tray.
