Designed for thin tile or carpet over poured concrete floors

The FSR FL-2000-2D-B is a back box designed for thin tile or carpet over poured concrete floors. It provides a practical solution for power and audio/video cable termination and connection. Its dual door design allows full access to the interior of the box when making connections and provides a small cable opening when in service. The FL-2000-2D-B is offered with two standard insert plates. Both insert plates come with divided areas for power and audio/video. The audio/video section has a flat removable panel which can be custom punched for the contractor or specified by the consultant.

The FSR FL-2000-2D-B back box includes a 1-year warranty.

Cover is manufactured from 1/8-inch plate with hinges

The FL-2000-2D-B consists of 4 pieces: a seam-welded box, a screw on cover, an internal bracket, and your choice of insert plates. The cover is manufactured from 1/8" plate with hinges. To aid the contractor in the multiple phases of the construction process a temporary cover and leveling feet are supplied with the floor box.

Note: This box is not applicable for direct contact with grade (soil or gravel). For grade applications, use the FL-GRD2/4 pour pan as a foundation before box installation.
