The Chief PAC527F XL In-Wall Storage Box with Flange provides a larger, easy-to-organize space to accommodate AV equipment. The included, universal backplanes can be mounted on three different levels to easily organize and layer components within the space. The PAC527F is available with and without integrated power, filtering and surge protection. It allows for components to be mounted in advance before attaching wires on site and has a printable backplane template for planning purposes.

The PAC527F enclosure is UL 2416 Listed for installation of AV, IT & Communication Technology Equipment. It includes two PACPL1 universal backplanes mountable at 3 different depths in 4 different locations. An additional PACPL1 backplane can be purchased separately for even more mounting options. One PACPL1 backplane can be snapped in half to create 2 smaller sections.

Paintable flange and cover options to blend in any environment

The PAC527F offers a multiple depth break away edge which allows compatibility with standard 3.5" stud and 2.5" stud bays (89 or 64 mm) -- non-powered units only. It has knockouts for single gang outlets and 1-1/4", 1", & ½" conduit, and pre and post construction installation options. It can be installed in landscape or portrait orientation. The PAC527F has paintable flange and cover options to blend in any environment. The cover includes an optional tamper proof security and is stud mountable.
