A complete classroom soundfield system
The Cetacea ASTCLD1-ORBD2-DUO Astronaut CL + Orbiter Commander Duo is a complete voice amplification and mixing station designed for the most flexibility when mixing multimedia and voice in the room. This system includes the Astronaut CL speaker system and Orbiter wireless pendant microphone designed for teacher comfort and all-day use.
This is the perfect choice for customers that do not have audio sources already routed to the ceiling (usually via a projector). The mixer can accept up to 3 separate inputs for smartphones, laptops, or any other line-level source. The mixer can also be adapted to output to an assisted listening device or voice recording system. The ASTCLD1-ORBD2-DUO comes with a 12' desktop power supply.
Astronaut CL Speaker
The CL is an elegantly designed, single-speaker solution for complete classroom-wide sound enhancement. From voice instruction to multimedia presentations, the CL’s patented Astronaut technology ensures correct and intelligible audio which leads to improved student comprehension and learning. Combined with the most innovative and simple installation system on the market, the CL promises cost-effectiveness and superior performance.
The proven Astronaut electronics provide up to 1,500 sq. ft. of soundfield coverage. Its omni-directional acoustics improve soundfields for group listening applications. A 3-channel mixer supports projector, microphone, DVD, iPod®, computer, or whiteboard. This version of Astronaut CL speaker comes with ceiling mount kit and a desktop power supply.
Simple and secure installation
The included bracket allows quick and easy mounting to the ceiling. The Astronaut can be mounted almost anywhere on the ceiling but for the best result, mount it close to the audience.

Ceiling mount kit with security bracket
Astronaut series speakers come standard with a ceiling mount kit for simple installation to ceiling tiles or hard-surfaced ceilings. Eye bolt security prevents unwanted removal of the Astronaut from below the ceiling.
