The Aten KL1508AMUKit is a kit that includes the KL1508AM 17" 8-port Dual Rail LCD KVM the KA7970 8x USB KVM Adapter Cable (15ft.). The KL1508AM LCD KVM Switch features an independently retractable, dual slide 17" LED-backlit LCD monitor and a keyboard with built-in touchpad. A single KL1508AM can control up to 8 computers. For increased reliability and efficiency, RJ-45 connectors and Cat 5e/6 cable are used to link to the computers. Utilizing KVM Adapter Cables for the final linkup, the KL1508AM permits any combination of PCs, Macs, Sun computers, and serial devices to coexist on the installation.

The KA7970 USB KVM Adapter Cable connects the KVM switch to the video and USB ports of the target computer. With its small form factor and lightweight design, it fits perfectly into most of the rack-mount or desktop servers.
