Introducing the 65" interactive flat panel with DViT technology and exciting new functionality

The SMART Board® 8065i-G5-SMP interactive flat panel features SMART’s proprietary DViT® (Digital Vision Touch) technology on an LCD screen with e-LED backlight. The 4K ultra-high-definition resolution display provides optimal image clarity and viewing from any angle. With the new Pen iQ feature, you can assign different ink appearances to either pen and write or draw over any application in digital ink.

With Object Awareness, you can perform mouse functions with your finger, write in digital ink with the pen, and erase with your palm or eraser- all without switching tools or modes. You can also use an array of gestures in applications. Two users can write or draw at the same time. The 8065i-G5-SMP also includes a SMART XTM module which is used to extend connectivity, SMART Cat5 extender and SMART Meeting Pro software.

Touch support

You can do everything on the SMART Board SBID8065i-G5-SMP interactive flat panel that you can do at your computer—open and close applications, meet with others, create new documents or edit existing ones, visit websites, play and manipulate videos, and so on—by touching the interactive flat panel’s surface. You can use an array of gestures within applications, including panning, scaling, rotating and zooming in and out. The interactive flat panel’s support for at least four simultaneous touches enables you and other users to interact with objects on the screen at the same time.

Writing and drawing support

You can write over any application in digital ink using one of the supplied pens, and then erase the digital ink using the eraser on the pen or your palm. You and another writer can write or draw digital ink on the screen at the same time. The Pen ID feature enables you to assign different ink appearances to each pen.

Pen iQ™

Presence detection sensor

Your interactive flat panel has a presence detection sensor on its bottom bezel that can detect people up to 16' (5 m) away when the interactive flat panel is in Standby mode. If the sensor detects people in the room, the interactive flat panel turns on and displays a welcome screen. Touching the screen activates the interactive flat panel. If the sensor doesn’t detect people in the room for a specified period of time, the interactive flat panel returns to Standby mode.

The SMART Meeting Pro software enables you to use your interactive flat panel in a meeting room. You can write or draw on a digital whiteboard, present content on your desktop and connect to individuals and other meeting rooms using integrated conferencing software. The Meeting Pro software showcases touch-enabled whiteboard features, superior digital ink capability and flexible options for saving your work which make it easy to share content and capture ideas in powerful, engaging ways. This powerful visual collaboration software allows users to create and capture ideas in the virtually unlimited interactive Unbound Workspace, as well as make notes over any available application, keep meetings organized and easily communicate outcomes.

Unbound workspace

The SMART Meeting Pro's Unbound Workspace enables a level of content creation never before seen and offers the easiest way to work with large amounts of visual data. The collaboration workspace intelligently resizes to your contextual need and Radar View enables you to pan and zoom without losing your place.
 

Leverage multiple displays

Make working on complicated projects that require cross-functional and remote teams faster and easier by enabling simultaneous views of the same content on up to 16 displays. You can work on a zoomed-in view on one display, keep the zoomed-out view on another while viewing all annotations in real time across all displays.

More efficient meetings

Combined with Microsoft® Exchange®, SMART Meeting Pro reads meeting invitations to automatically start the meeting when you log in. It loads your agenda, attendee list, links included in the meeting invite and any attached documents. Use the embedded links feature to bring SharePoint® documents into your meeting.
